Always Going The Extra Mile !!

What a start to 2018 TeamABC have had !!

As a club we have grown significantly in members and status. We are now the 3rd biggest club in the country (as recognised by England Boxing)  and boast facilities unrivaled by many. We are a highly respected club having many great relationships with clubs all over the country , and further !!

We have sessions everyday (except Sundays) catering for everyone. All of these sessions have seen new members and plenty of success stories with many personal triumphs. We have seen boxers making the step up from recreational to squad boxers, representing their club for the first time as well as boxers making successful returns after a long absence from the ring. We have been represented at national level in Schools , Junior and Elite competitions. We still have boxers in the Elite and Schools Competition and now have two Junior England Boxing National Champions , both of which have already been involved with the England Boxing Team since. As a club we’ve had lots of sparring both at ABC as well as travelling to other gyms near and far for all skill levels.  We’ve been attending many shows on a weekly basis some close to home others being upto 5 hours down the road and requiring over night stays for the team involved, at times we have sent out up to 5 seperate teams to different events on the same day!! On our first home show of the year in March our boxers performed very well and after many months of planning and organising we are now very busy putting everything together for our big 10th Anniversary Home Show taking place in less than 3 weeks. Coming to this show alone will show you we have extremely high standards and want to put on the best show we possibly can for our boxers and supporters. We are simply an Amateur Boxing Club with a professional approach and attitude all created by a group of volunteers.

TeamABC have been putting in the miles recently, this map shows only the last 2 months of travelling we have done just for bouts !! (This doesn’t include sparring trips which have included Ireland , Blackpool , Manchester as well as a lot more local clubs) Another minibus is required if anyone can help!

Why do we do it ??……Simply because we as a club want to give All of our boxers every experience and opportunity wherever possible, never turning bouts or sparring down regardless of travel or opponent.

In our 10th year anniversary we have continued to grow from humble beginnings to what we have now and are very proud of our achievements. Of course none of this would be possible if it wasn’t for all the hard work being put in behind the scenes from such a dedicated and passionate team, the commitment of the boxers and their coaches putting in the countless hours in the gym,  Sponsors of the club and individual boxers who without their donations little of this would be possible and of course the fantastic support we have for the club from the public. We Thankyou All and together we hope to continue our journey with the many successes and positive results Attleborough Boxing Club has achieved over the past decade and go on to enjoy even bigger and better things as we continue to develop and grow.
