Knock Out Extremism Sparring Event

Today TeamABC took along 8 of its boxers to a sparring event being run by Peterborough Police Boxing Club (PPBC) for carded boxers who had no more than 2 bouts. The event was part of ‘The Knock Out Extremism’ scheme which hopes to give vulnerable young people a sense of belonging, camaraderie and friendship, and draw them away from more negative influences.

As well as being a great event it was also a brilliant experience for our boxers , some of which who were boxing in such show conditions for the very first time. All the boxers we took learnt things and improved in certain areas , they did themselves and club proud and will now undoubtedly learn from todays experience and improve further.
